This evening at The Morgan, the first event in a three-concert New York series celebrating the distinguished flutist Carol Wincenc in her fiftieth year of performing, features two of the five new works that Carol has commissioned for the season. The program includes a screening of a clip from Leonard Yakir’s documentary film The Ruby Concerts, along with performances of Debussy, Mozart, and newly commissioned works by Jake Heggie and Pierre Jalbert.
