bespokenNew York, NY
In 2018, co-founders Gina Izzo and Eunbi Kim founded bespoken, a music mentoring organization which provides career and project guidance to musicians, composers, and/or administrators, who self-identify as female, non-binary, trans, or gender non-conforming. bespoken emerged from the shared belief that mentorship will advance female performers, composers, and administrators in the classical, jazz, and new music industries for the long-term. bespoken developed with the fundamental idea that one-on-one mentoring was the strongest way to support individuals’ at pivotal points in their careers. We put artistic visions into action through our one-on-one mentoring and workshops— structured yet personalized — designed to provide skills training, career oversight, and strategies for building a career as a music professional while charting their own career path.
