Justin Vance is a multiple woodwind artist who performs regularly on flute, oboe, clarinet and saxophone. Originally from Texas, he holds degrees from Baylor University (B.M. in Saxophone Performance) and the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) (M.M. in Multiple Woodwind Performance). As a soloist, Justin has performed concerti on both saxophone and oboe as the winner of concerto competitions at both universities. He has also held regional orchestral positions in the Temple Symphony Orchestra (3rd flute/piccolo) and the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra (2nd oboe/English horn). Justin has traveled the country and abroad with the national tours of South Pacific, Shrek the Musical, Catch Me If You Can and Ghost the Musical. Since moving to New York City in 2013, he has been involved with many recording sessions and has subbed on multiple Broadway shows including Pippin, Gigi, The Visit, Fun Home, Aladdin, Something Rotten!, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Miss Saigon, Bandstand, Hello, Dolly! and Anastasia. Justin has held chairs on John Kander’s Off-Broadway production of Kid Victory, the Radio City Spring Spectacular (2015), the Radio City New York Spectacular (2016) and has been a member of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular since 2014. Outside of theatre, he has performed with the New York Chamber Players, the Manhattan Symphonie, the Astoria Choir, the Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, Broadway Chamber Players and the American Modern Ensemble.
