The excerpt is from a work in progress created for YBCA’s “Dissident Futures” exhibit and performed at Sussex University in 2/14. It uses prepared and amplified piano with live video projection and custom made video controllers in an effort to re-imagine the piano as a 21st century instrument in an actively fraying and contingent environment.

The Memory Table v2
V2 of the Memory Table is the transformation of Winters original Memory Table media installation into a place / site of devised performance. Based on a deceptively simple “social” installation where viewers interacting with an everyday table experience a visual and sonic mirror of their own present-tense experiences merged with table’s fragmentary/re-written “memories” of all the pasts that have transpired at the site the project works with performer paige starling sorvillo and composer Evelyn Ficarra. shown 9/13 at CNM-SF, and Sussex U.
