
Noah Jenkins
Eugene, ORNoah Jenkins is a composer and violinist living in Eugene, OR. He studies composition with Robert Kyr and David Crumb and violin with Kathryn Lucktenberg at the University of Oregon. As a composer, recent projects include pieces for PRISM Saxophone Quartet, Oregon Percussion Ensemble, and Verbal Transcription. As cofounder of turnEnsemble and member of Eugene Contemporary Chamber Ensemble Noah has collaborated with many composers on new pieces in addition to performing landmark works of the contemporary repertoire. He has served as concertmaster of the University of Oregon Symphony Orchestra and also performs with the Eugene Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Next. Noah recently had the privilege of performing alongside members of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) at the New Music on the Point Festival in Vermont.
