Ross Garren

Los Angeles, CA   

Ross Garren is a pianist, harmonicist, and composer currently residing in Los Angeles, California. He received his B.M. from the University of Southern California where he was named Outstanding Graduate in Composition. He is a member of the duos Garren & Cohan and the Sheriffs of Schroedingham, as well leading his own solo project, Taggart. An active freelance musician, he has been named a Sundance Institute Music and Sound Design Fellow, won three ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Awards, arranged for BB King, has performed on countless recordings including as a featured soloist on Dumb and Dumber To (starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels), as well as having served on faculty at the Musician’s Institute. Ross is a proud endorser of Seydel Harmonicas, the Lone Wolf Blues Company effects pedals, and Xkey midi controllers.
