Sierra UrichBristol, VT
Vermont native Sierra Urich is an alumna of the Rhode Island School of Design, where she wrote and directed her first short film, Through The Tubes. Inspired by works of magical realism, fragmented narratives, and visceral human perception, Urich’s work places an emphasis on visual aesthetics, using texture and color as a narrative device.

Through The Tubes
A trailer for, Through The Tubes, a hybrid stop-motion, live-action short film.
Synopsis: An elderly woman does her laundry in her basement sink. As the circumstances of her day become increasingly surreal, an unlikely discovery allows her to slip into the forgotten corners of her mind. Rich with texture, sound, and imagined landscapes, Through The Tubes is a metaphorical narrative told through the senses of memory.
